Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Product Support Service Engineer to provide technical support and after-sales service for heavy equipment. The role ensures optimal equipment performance, high service standards, and strong customer satisfaction across both workshop and field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for technical support and service-related queries
- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on heavy equipment
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Conduct overhaul and component-level repairs when required
- Maintain accurate service reports, inspection records, and maintenance logs
- Monitor equipment performance and identify recurring issues for improvement
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
- Ensure compliance with OEM standards, safety regulations, and company policies
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience in product support, service engineering, or after-sales support
- Strong technical knowledge of heavy equipment (excavators, cranes, forklifts, etc.)
- Solid understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation
- Excellent communication and customer-handling skills
- Willingness to travel to client sites across the UAE
Preferred Skills
- Experience with OEMs such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, Liebherr, or JCB
- Prior experience in the UAE or GCC market
- Familiarity with service management systems and reporting tools
