Company Overview:
We are a specialized company in handling and storage of iron scale materials, followed by additional processing activities including blending and screening. For our yard located in Om Zeghio Alexandria, we are looking for a competent Safety Engineer to join our team and ensure full compliance with HSE standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor health & safety policies and procedures at the yard.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, inspections, and toolbox talks.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and safe operation of equipment and machinery.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and prepare reports with corrective actions.
- Coordinate safety requirements with operations, maintenance, and contractors.
- Maintain safety documentation and ensure compliance with local regulations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in industrial yards, logistics, or material handling.
- Good knowledge of HSE regulations and risk management.
- Strong reporting and communication skills.
- Certifications in Occupational Health & Safety are a plus.
