Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Production Coordinator to join our fast-paced and creative team in Dubai. This role is important in ensuring the seamless planning, organization, and execution of high-end production activities for luxury retail stores, pop-ups & animations, windows & props, events, permanent counters, podiums and gondolas.
The Production Coordinator will support the production team in overseeing workshop operations, material procurement, vendor coordination, and project deliveries, ensuring all elements meet the company's quality and timeline standards. Acting as a vital communication link between design, production, and project teams, this role ensures that every project moves efficiently from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily production activities to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule and to specification.
- Support production managers in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for multiple ongoing projects.
- Liaise with designers, project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and timely material availability.
- Oversee and track procurement processes, including quotation collection, purchase order preparation, and supplier follow-up.
- Maintain accurate production documentation, such as material lists, fabrication drawings, job orders, and delivery schedules.
- Conduct quality checks during production and before dispatch to ensure adherence to design and brand standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, track material usage, and coordinate with procurement to avoid delays or shortages.
- Support logistics and installation planning, ensuring all components are delivered, installed, and handed over as per schedule.
- Identify and report any production challenges or delays, and assist in implementing effective solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting process optimizations to enhance productivity and quality control.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience as a Production Coordinator, Production Assistant, or in a similar role within the interior fit-out, joinery, events, or luxury retail production sectors.
- Strong knowledge of production workflows, materials, fabrication processes, and quality standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and production/project tracking tools.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and coordination skills for liaising with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with UAE-based suppliers, workshops, and production standards is highly desirable.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Industrial Design, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant hands-on experience in workshop or site coordination may be considered in lieu of formal education.
