Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Production Engineer to lead our aluminum workshop. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the production of aluminum windows, sliding and folding doors, entrance doors, curtain walls, facade systems, skylights, pergolas, louvers, handrails, glass partitions, and other architectural aluminum and glazing products. The successful candidate will be responsible for production planning, workshop operations, quality control, productivity, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, schedule, and supervise daily workshop production activities.
  • Review shop and fabrication drawings before production.
  • Supervise cutting, machining, fabrication, assembly, glazing, and final inspections.
  • Ensure products are manufactured according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with Technical Design, Procurement, and Installation teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor production progress, manpower, material utilization, and inventory.
  • Improve productivity, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of workshop machinery and equipment.
  • Enforce quality, health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
  • Lead, train, and evaluate workshop personnel.
  • Prepare production reports and resolve production-related issues.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in aluminum and facade fabrication, with at least 3 years in a Production Engineer or similar leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in aluminum windows, doors, curtain walls, facade systems, pergolas, skylights, glazing systems, and other architectural aluminum products.
  • Strong knowledge of aluminum profile systems, fabrication techniques, glazing, architectural hardware, and workshop operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural, shop, and fabrication drawings.
  • Proven experience in production planning, quality control, workshop management, and manpower supervision.
  • Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with major aluminum systems such as Technal, Schüco, Reynaers, Gulf Extrusions, Qalex, or similar is an advantage.
  • GCC experience is highly preferred.
