Job Summary
To plan, monitor, and improve cable production processes by applying engineering principles, ensuring optimal efficiency, product quality, and compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Design, evaluate, and optimize production processes to enhance operational efficiency and minimize waste.
- Monitor daily production performance to ensure adherence to engineering standards, quality requirements, and key performance indicators.
- Analyze process and performance data to identify the root causes of deviations, recommending and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and maintain product compliance.
- Lead and support technical initiatives aimed at continuous improvement, cost reduction, and process innovation.
- Prepare, update, and maintain engineering and production documentation to support audits, compliance, and operational transparency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- 13 years of experience in industrial or cable manufacturing engineering.
- Safety and Quality Management training (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or ISO 9001 Internal Auditor is a plus)
- Good command of English & Arabic
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and ERP systems (advanced ERP knowledge preferred)
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Ability to collaborate with crossfunctional teams (Production, Maintenance, QA, Planning)
