Production Engineer

Job Purpose:

To operate and supervise the production of HVAC duct components in the manufacturing plant, ensuring timely delivery, quality standards, cost efficiency, and safe operations to support project requirements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Implement production plans based on project schedules to ensure that production targets are met within the agreed timelines.

• Supervise daily duct fabrication activities including cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.

• Monitor workforce productivity and machine utilization to maximize efficiency.

• Optimize the use of materials, labor, and machines to minimize waste, scrap, and unnecessary production costs.

• Coordinate material availability with procurement and vendors.

• Implement improved manufacturing techniques and standardized process controls to reduce rework and defects.

• Ensure all fabricated ducts meet required measurements, have proper finishing, and are correctly assembled.

• Coordinate with Quality Control for inspections and corrective actions to enforce quality standards.

• Coordinate with the shipping/logistics team to make sure completed ducts are dispatched as scheduled.

• Ensure all fabricated ducts comply with approved shop drawings, project specifications, and industry standards.

• Monitor machines condition and report technical issues when necessary.

• Coordinate preventive maintenance programs with technicians.

• Identify and resolve issues with machines, materials, or workflow to keep production running smoothly and minimize downtime.

• Ensure that employee is working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, and fully aware of his job risk assessment and environmental aspects.

Minimum Qualification & Requirements:

Education/ Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering

Professional Certification: Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and ductwork fabrication processes. Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and quality standards.

Work Experience: 3 – 5 years of experience in same field

Language: Arabic / English

Computer Skills: CAD/CAM software
