Role Description
We are seeking a motivated Production Engineer with hands-on experience in metal machining and shop-floor supervision. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, ensuring efficient use of machining resources, maintaining safety standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and supervise daily production operations to ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
- Operate, monitor, and optimize metal machining equipment to ensure efficient and safe production.
- Troubleshoot production and technical issues and coordinate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams for timely resolution.
- Ensure implementation and compliance with safety regulations and occupational health procedures on the shop floor.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve process efficiency.
- Prepare production reports and assist in process planning and optimization activities.
Job Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
- 23 years of hands-on experience in metal machining operations (turning, milling, cutting, forming, etc.).
- Proven experience working with CNC machines, including CNC lathes and milling machines.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Power Mill software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
