Position Summary
The Production Manager will lead and oversee all production operations for company's facility in Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for leading and managing the entire production process of exhibitions, events, and interior fit-out projects - from planning and fabrication to on-site execution.
This role requires a technically strong and highly organized individual with excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills ensuring that the KSA production facility runs efficiently, safely, and in full alignment with the company's regional quality standards and project delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Factory Management & Operations
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the KSA production facility, including joinery, metal, paint, graphics, and electrical divisions.
- Oversee manpower planning, workshop scheduling, and workload distribution across departments.
- Implement production systems and processes to ensure optimal efficiency and cost control.
- Maintain equipment, machinery, and tools to ensure safe and reliable operations.
- Enforce factory safety protocols and compliance with local labour and HSE regulations.
- Manage inventory and coordinate with procurement for timely material availability.
Project & Production Oversight
- Supervise the full production lifecycle of exhibition, event, and fit-out projects.
- Review design and technical drawings for feasibility, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with the UAE operations, design, and project management teams for production planning and approvals.
- Ensure timely fabrication and dispatch of materials to project sites.
- Conduct final quality checks before project delivery and oversee installation and dismantling when required.
Budgeting & Cost Control
- Prepare and monitor production budgets, ensuring resource optimization.
- Validate supplier and subcontractor quotations in alignment with cost targets.
- Track production costs, material wastage, and labour productivity.
- Support management with cost analysis and continuous improvement recommendations.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, supervise, and develop a multicultural workforce including engineers, supervisors, foremen, and skilled labourers.
- Build a strong production culture focused on accountability, quality, and safety.
- Identify training needs and implement upskilling programs to maintain technical excellence.
- Evaluate team performance and recommend improvements or restructuring as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture
- Minimum 812 years of experience in production management within exhibitions, events, or interior fit-outindustries, including at least 5 years in a factory management or workshop leadership role.
- Strong understanding of fabrication techniques (joinery, metal, paint, electrical, graphics).
- Proven track record managing end-to-end production for large-scale regional projects.
- Familiarity with KSA operational standards, local labour laws, and vendor networks.
- Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.
- Proficient in reading AutoCAD and technical/shop drawings.
- Fluency in English (Arabic an advantage).
