Production Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support daily production activities to ensure production targets are achieved.
• Ensure machines and production equipment are operating efficiently and safely.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues affecting production.
• Coordinate with the Maintenance team to reduce equipment breakdowns and downtime.
• Analyze production problems and implement effective mechanical solutions.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production machinery.
• Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Participate in the installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement of production equipment.
• Assist in optimizing production processes, machine settings, and workflow.
• Ensure production activities comply with company quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, maintenance records, and production-related documentation.
• Work closely with operators to identify recurring machine and production issues.
• Provide technical guidance and support to machine operators when required.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and corrective action activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, downtime, and production costs.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and HSE requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment is preferred.
• Good knowledge of mechanical equipment, machinery, and production processes.
• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical problems.
• Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance principles.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and technical documentation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
