Overview
The Production Planning & Scheduling Assistant Analyst supports production and supply chain teams by maintaining accurate material plans, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring materials are available for manufacturing. An engineering background is required to understand technical drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update MRP data (BOMs, lead times, order quantities).
- Review MRP output and create purchase or work orders as needed.
- Track material shortages and coordinate with procurement and production to resolve issues.
- Assist engineering with BOM reviews, ECN updates, and configuration changes.
- Monitor inventory levels and support cycle counts.
- Participate in daily production meetings and communicate material risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, etc.).
- 0-2 years of experience in planning, supply chain, or manufacturing (internships accepted).
- Advance English level.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand basic manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong Excel and analytical skills.
- Good communication and attention to detail.
