Role Description

We are seeking a Production Planning Manager for a full-time, on-site role located in Qesm 1st Nasser City. This role involves developing and managing production schedules, overseeing production planning processes, analyzing performance to optimize workflow, and ensuring timely delivery of products. The Production Planning Manager will closely collaborate with cross-functional teams, monitor resources, and address any operational challenges to maintain efficiency and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive seasonal production plans including: (Models, Colors, Quantities, Delivery dates)
  • Review and ensure readiness of: (Tech Packs, Size Charts, Production files)
  • Prepare preliminary costing sheets for each style.
  • Allocate styles to suitable factories based on: (Production capacity, Fabric type, Quality level, Production system FOB / CMT)
  • Manage and follow up: (Fabric orders, Accessories orders, Brand trims and labels)
  • Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing team to ensure on-time material delivery.
  • Approve production costs and manage factory agreements and contracts.
  • Follow up all approvals related to: (Fabrics, Colors, Samples, Printing, Embroidery)
  • Monitor all production stages: (Cutting, Printing / Embroidery, Washing, Sewing, Packing)
  • Coordinate with Quality team regarding: (Factory evaluations, Production meetings, Production follow-up visits, Pre-final & final inspections)
  • Ensure on-time shipment and delivery to KSA branch.
  • Search and evaluate new factories, printing suppliers, and embroidery vendors.
  • Lead and manage the Planning team to achieve department targets and production timelines. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree of relevant Field.
  • +10 Years of Experience in apparel planning and production follow-up.
  • 3-5 Years of Experience in Managerial or Supervisory level.
  • Strong knowledge of: (FOB & CMT systems, Garment production processes, Fabrics, printing, embroidery, and washing)
  • Experience dealing with: (Factories, Suppliers, Production planning)
  • Proficiency in creating and managing Production Schedules and Production Planning
  • Strong Planning and Production Management skills
  • Excellent Analytical Skills for evaluating performance and improving processes
  • Exceptional problem-solving, negotiation and decision-making abilities
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to manage team dynamics and foster collaboration
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Google Sheets
  • Ability to make Factories visits
  • Nasr City is a suitable work place
