Program Leader Design & Architecture

Main Responsibilities:

1-Maintain strong connections within the Architecture & Design industry to leverage professional relationships for program development and opportunities.

2-Develop and sustain a professional network within the Architecture & Design field to support collaboration, faculty engagement, and industry partnerships.

3-Lead the design and review of the Architecture & Design curriculum to ensure quality, relevance, and compliance with NQF and accreditation standards.

4-Collaborate with external and international partners to enhance the program's profile and relevance, without reliance on them.

5-Oversee the day-to-day management of Architecture & Design program delivery, including teaching schedules, resource planning, budget oversight, and use of technical production equipment.

6-Monitor teaching quality, learning outcomes, and assessment practices in the Architecture & Design program to ensure continuous quality enhancement.

7-Oversee curriculum planning, management, and execution for the Architecture & Design program.

Requirements:

1-Experienced in planning and managing resources, including staff, time, facilities, and budgets within the Architecture & Design program.

2-Proficient in analyzing student performance and feedback to inform program adjustments and improvements.

3-Ability to supervise, motivate, and support faculty and administrative staff involved in the Architecture & Design program.

4-PhD degree minimum in Architecture & Design , Media, or a relevant field.

5-Proven experience in academic program design, teaching, and quality assurance within the Architecture & Design or media sector.
