Program Planning & Control Manager

Location: Al Ain, UAE

Function: Aerospace Program Management Office (PMO)

We are looking for a highly experienced Program Planning & Control Manager to join our growing Aerospace PMO team in Al Ain. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving program planning, scheduling, performance monitoring, and governance activities across complex aircraft development and aerospace programs.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience from an Aircraft OEM environment, with a strong track record of managing integrated schedules, controlling program performance, and supporting executive decision-making throughout the program lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and control Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) and program baselines.
  • Lead program planning and control activities throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Monitor schedule performance, critical paths, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Identify schedule variances and develop recovery and mitigation plans.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program Management teams to ensure program objectives are achieved.
  • Support executive program reviews and management reporting through advanced performance metrics and dashboards.
  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to cost, schedule, and program execution.
  • Facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities and change management processes.
  • Conduct schedule and performance analyses using Earned Value Management (EVM) principles where applicable.
  • Ensure effective governance, compliance, and reporting frameworks are maintained across programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within planning, scheduling, and program control processes.
  • Mentor and guide planning and control professionals within the PMO function.

Qualifications & Experience:

bachelor's degree in engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Minimum 10+ years of Program Planning & Control experience within an Aircraft OEM or Aerospace manufacturing environment.

Strong experience managing complex aerospace development programs and cross-functional teams.
