The Role

As part of the Programme Management Consultancy (PMC/PMO) team for a major port development project in Kuwait, the Program/Scheduler will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and controlling the project schedule, ensuring timely delivery while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update the project master schedule, including all key milestones, activities, and dependencies.
  • Monitor progress and track project performance against the baseline schedule, highlighting critical path activities and potential delays.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and consultants to collect progress updates and ensure schedule alignment.
  • Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations on schedule status, risks, and recovery plans for management and client review.
  • Identify scheduling risks and propose mitigation strategies to minimize delays and optimize resource allocation.
  • Support project planning, sequencing, and time impact analyses for design, procurement, and construction phases.
  • Ensure adherence to project control standards, processes, and scheduling tools.

Key Qualifications And Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • 15+ years of experience in planning/scheduling on large-scale infrastructure or port projects.
  • Strong experience in PMC/PMO or client-representative roles is highly desirable.
  • Proven expertise in project scheduling, progress monitoring, and critical path analysis.

Key Knowledge And Skills


  • Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.
  • Knowledge of construction planning, project controls, and time management principles.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
