Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Programming and Database Management Specialist to develop, manage and maintain database systems, support web application development, and oversee data collection, processing, and the project dashboard. The role requires strong systems analysis skills, proficiency in Arabic and English, and experience with road databases and maintenance project software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, implement, and maintain database systems.
- Develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications and backend services.
- Manage data collection workflows and use related software to upload, extract, clean, and process data.
- Perform computer systems analysis to optimize performance, security, and reliability.
- Configure and support network operating systems as they relate to database and application hosting.
- Integrate and maintain road database systems and road maintenance project management software.
- Build, monitor, and continuously update the project Dashboard and related reporting tools.
- Troubleshoot data, application, and database issues; implement fixes and improvements.
- Document systems, procedures, and changes; train users and provide technical support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
- Proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
Experience:
- Minimum 5-10 years relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience with database programming, systems analysis, network operating systems, web application development, and working with road or infrastructure databases/project software.
Preferred Skills/Technical Tools:
- SQL and NoSQL database systems, database design and optimization.
- Backend programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, PHP) and web frameworks.
- ETL/data processing tools and data validation techniques.
- Dashboarding and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Grafana) or custom dashboard development.
- Familiarity with GIS or road asset management systems is an advantage.
- Version control (Git), CI/CD practices, and basic server administration.
