Description

The Program Officer Ghurnata supports the design, coordination, and delivery of Ghurnata's arts, culture, wellness, education, and social programs. Working under the Programming Director, the role ensures that all activities reflect Torasna's mission to activate heritage spaces through meaningful, community-centered experiences. The Program Officer plays a central role in implementing programs, coordinating logistics and partnerships, and ensuring high-quality execution that celebrates the spirit and legacy of Ghurnata while engaging a diverse local audience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Program Coordination & Implementation Support the development and implementation of Ghurnata's program calendar, including cultural, wellness, educational, and social activities. Coordinate all logistical elements of programs such as scheduling, setup, materials, and onsite execution. Ensure that each activity reflects Ghurnata's heritage character, community relevance, and quality standards. Liaise with the operations, finance and marketing teams to align programming timelines, communications, and visitor flow.

2. Partnership & Stakeholder Support Assist in managing relationships with artists, educators, wellness practitioners, community organizations, and cultural institutions collaborating with Ghurnata. Support partnership documentation, contracts, and day-to-day coordination under the guidance of the Programming Director. Maintain clear and professional communication with facilitators, speakers, and partners to ensure smooth collaboration.

3. Operational & Administrative Support Manage administrative and logistical requirements related to program delivery, including materials preparation, attendance tracking, and setup coordination in coordination with the operation team. Support internal coordination across departments (operations, finance, and marketing) to ensure timely delivery of program needs. Assist with supplier and vendor coordination when needed. Maintain accurate program records, customer database, schedules, and reports.

4. Audience Engagement & Feedback Support audience engagement and communication before, during, and after programs. Gather participant feedback and insights to help assess impact and improve future activities. Contribute to community outreach and awareness efforts to build participation and visibility.

5. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting Track participation, attendance, and satisfaction metrics for each program. Assist in preparing post-program reports and documentation for internal review. Support the Programming Director in evaluating performance against key impact indicators.

6. Research & Innovation Support Conduct background research on topics, trends, and potential collaborators relevant to Ghurnata's programming pillars. Propose creative ideas and new formats for community engagement, workshops, and events. Stay informed on develop.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Arts Administration, Education, Businesses or a related field.

04 years of relevant experience in program coordination, event management, or cultural/community project delivery.

Interest in working within heritage, cultural, or community-focused organizations preferred.

Proven skills in coordinating logistics, communicating with partners, and supporting program delivery.

Passion for community-based heritage activation and cultural engagement.
