Job Description

Key Responsibilities;

  • Monitor and maintain project financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Review project budgets, forecasts, commitments, and actual expenditures to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare and analyze project financial reports, including profitability, cost performance, cash flow, and earned value metrics.
  • Support project managers in financial planning, budget development, and cost control activities.
  • Manage project revenue recognition in accordance with applicable accounting standards and contractual requirements.
  • Review project-related invoices, purchase orders, payment requests, and subcontractor claims for financial accuracy.
  • Ensure proper allocation of project costs, labor charges, overheads, and indirect expenses.
  • Coordinate project billing activities and monitor accounts receivable collections related to projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance, including at least 3 years in project accounting.
  • Experience in construction, engineering, infrastructure, facilities management, or project-based organizations is preferred.
