Project Control Manager Dubai/Abu Dhabi | AED 36,00043,000 per month
We are seeking an experienced Project Control Manager to join a major real estate development program. This role sits within a high-performing Project Controls team and reports directly to the Director of Project Controls. We are seeking someone with a background with major development companies or consultants working with development clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring proper sequencing and alignment with project deadlines.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to update schedules based on progress, scope changes, and unforeseen delays.
- Track performance against baseline schedules, highlight variances, and report findings to senior stakeholders.
- Monitor KPIs, milestone achievements, and task completion to ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Support preparation of project dashboards and reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify risks during planning and execution; support mitigation actions with relevant teams.
- Track resource allocation and recommend adjustments to avoid over/underutilization.
- Maintain all project controls documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
- Lead preparation of regular status reports, highlighting key performance issues and schedule insights.
- Conduct quality checks on project control deliverables and participate in internal process audits.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project control tools, systems, and methodologies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 12 years total experience, including 5 years in the GCC.
- Background with major development companies or consultants working with development clients.
- Strong experience in project controls, design management, procurement planning, and pre-contract activities for major capital projects.
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi authority approvals preferred.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and other project controls tools.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and KPI tracking skills.
- Clear communicator with a solid understanding of quality assurance processes.
