Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented
Project Control Engineer (Saudi National) to join our team! In this role you will get to
perform on developing, implementing, and maintaining project controls / scheduling functions on a portfolio of projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Assists with the development and management of the cost control systems to provide project and company management with accurate financial information.
- Facilitates the development of the work breakdown structure (WBS), interfacing with Procurement, Engineering, and Finance Departments as needed.
- Performs some independent analysis of data stored in the project management and cost control systems. Creates presentations using graphs, diagrams, and other exhibits to illustrate cost status.
- Understands and applies engineering, procurement, and construction terminology, concepts, and relationships.
- Develops and maintains less complex critical path logic networks and bar charts utilizing this information.
- Analyzes, evaluates, and forecasts current status against an established baseline schedule.
- Assesses the impact(s) of design or construction changes and schedule slippages.
- Reports schedule status to all levels of project and Company management as well as to the Client.
- Identify the potential areas of delay/slippage, highlight the critical events & suggest mitigation measures/corrective actions.
- Prepare regular progress reports/monthly reports with program analysis and recommendations.
- Detailed assessment of the claims including Extension of Time, Disruption, etc.
- Coordination with the Client to finalize the contractor's programs, reports, and claims.
- Attending various meetings including kick-off, technical, service coordination, progress review, etc. providing valuable inputs, and preparing concise & precise minutes of meetings.
- Preparation of Trackers/Logs to monitor critical issues during the Design and Construction stages of the Project.
What Required Skills You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of related work experience.
- Requires basic engineering knowledge in civil, electrical, mechanical, or a related field.
- Proficient PC skills including proficiency in various Project Controls software (Primavera P6) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
