We are currently recruiting a Power Generation Project Control engineer to be part of the delivery management team on behalf of a major energy group in UAE.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the development and implementation of effective project controls, covering both planning and reporting activities from the early Development phase before the mobilization of the Project Company and once the Project Company is mobilized, including tracking performance indicators, anticipating potential deviations, and recommending remedial actions, while ensuring effective collaboration within the Sponsor's Project Delivery Head
- Office team, with the Project Company and EPC contractors.
- Responsible for ensuring completion of the delivery cycle on time, while maintaining the Sponsor's Project Delivery Head Office team with an accurate view of projects health and risks while anticipating potential deviations and recommending remediation action.
- Responsible for developing Project schedules during the Development phase until effective mobilization of the Project Company and EPC Contractors.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Engineering
- Proficiency in Primavera Planning & Scheduling Software and tools related to project control (including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite tools).
- 10+ years of experience in planning, scheduling in power and water projects in the construction industry as EPC Contractor is preferred
Duration of the contract: 12 months
