Job Summary:
Acts as program, projects or major‑project controls lead, integrating schedule–cost–risk, driving EVM and claims analysis, and coaching project team members. Typically serves high‑complexity energy/infrastructure projects with multi‑contract packages.
Duties:
- Develop/maintain integrated baseline (L2–L4) with resource loading in P6; define progress measurement rules.
- Lead periodic updates, critical path/float analysis, performance indices (CPI/SPI), and recovery scenarios.
- Work with cost central team to produce cost forecasts and cash flows; reconcile commitments vs. budgets; prepare trend logs.
- Run delay analyses and support EoT/claims substantiation; maintain change logs and narratives.
- Coordinate engineering/procurement/construction interfaces; align project deliverable schedules with procurement long‑lead items and site needs.
- Lead look-ahead planning sessions and oversee variance root cause analysis with projects team.
- Establish risk registers; facilitate qualitative/quantitative schedule risk analysis.
- Train team members in P6, EVM, and reporting standards; review work of planning/cost engineers.
- Support tender planning (method statements, execution logic, key milestones) and bid clarifications.
- Assist in development and maintenance of project controls documentation/procedures, shared drives, databases and tools
Qualifications Required:
- BSc degree in Engineering.
- PSP/CCP or PMP is an advantage
- 12+ years total in project controls within power/renewable energy/water/infrastructure.
- Foundational training in P6/MS Project and MS Office
- Power BI exposure preferred.
- Integrated project controls, claims, EVM, schedule/cost risk, and power/renewable energy/water/infrastructure lifecycles.
- P6 (advanced), MS Project, MS Office, Power BI, risk tools; bilingual Arabic/English.
