Job Description

The Junior Art Project Coordinator assists the Art Collection Manager in planning, organizing, and executing art projects and exhibitions and installation. The role requires both administrative precision and creative sensitivity supporting the gallery's artistic vision while ensuring smooth project operations.

Main Responsibilities

Coordinate logistics for shipping, and installation of artworks.

Prepare PowerPoint presentations, project timelines, and Excel tracking sheets.

Create and edit visual materials using Photoshop (labels, posters, layouts).

Maintain and update databases, catalogues, and condition reports.

Liaise with artists, suppliers, transporters, and insurance providers.

Support preparation of gallery brochures, wall texts, and digital archives.

Assist during exhibition setup and public openings.

Help with communication content (images, captions, press materials).

Skills & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Art History, Fine Arts, Design, or related field.

12 years of relevant experience (gallery, museum, or creative project).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Basic to intermediate skills in Adobe Photoshop (and Illustrator a plus).

Excellent written and spoken English; Italian or Arabic a plus.

Strong organizational and coordination skills.

Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to multitask in fast-paced environments.

Interest in contemporary and modern art, design, and cultural heritage.
