JOB PURPOSE:
GCL is seeking a Project Coordinator with an Aquatics MEP background to provide project-specific support to design and technical teams delivering aquatic facilities and water-based projects. The role ensures effective coordination across MEP, architectural, and specialist aquatics disciplines, supporting the Project Manager in maintaining quality, schedule, budget, and technical performance throughout the project lifecycle.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Provide front-line project coordination support to aquatics-focused MEP, architectural, and technical teams.
- Review subcontractor and supplier MEP and aquatics material submittals, shop drawings, and technical documentation; follow up on consultant and authority approvals.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary efforts including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, water treatment, hydraulics, and specialist aquatics consultants and subcontractors.
- Monitor quality, progress, and productivity of technical disciplines and aquatics-related subcontractors.
- Review subcontractor/supplier material submittals and follow up on consultant approvals.
- Ensure technical operations remain within authorized overhead budgets.
- Assist the Project Manager in resolving technical, coordination, resourcing, or schedule issues, particularly those related to aquatics MEP systems.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support project objectives.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent; professional registration required.
- Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience in project coordination or technical coordination, with demonstrated exposure to aquatics projects, water features, pools, or aquatic facilities. Proven experience coordinating MEP systems, ideally within aquatic, leisure, hospitality, or infrastructure projects.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

- Proficiency in Autodesk products including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit
- Strong understanding of architectural and technical discipline workflows
- Ability to manage project documentation and material submittals effectively
