Job Description:
The Project Coordinator Engineer supports the Project Manager and Project Team in planning, executing, and monitoring daily project activities to ensure smooth workflow and the successful completion of project objectives within the defined schedule and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Track daily work plans and ensure alignment with the overall project schedule.
- Prepare regular progress reports (Daily/Weekly/Monthly).
- Coordinate between engineering teams, technicians, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Follow up on material requests, deliveries, and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
- Assist the Project Manager in preparing technical documents such as Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and Project Schedules.
- Attend meetings with the client and main contractor, and document Minutes of Meeting.
- Monitor project costs and ensure compliance with the approved budget.
- Conduct site visits to verify work quality and adherence to safety standards.
- Identify project obstacles or delays and propose appropriate solutions.
- Manage and organize project-related documents and correspondence (Document Control).
Required Skills:
- Strong coordination, follow-up, and time management skills.
- Good reporting and data analysis skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Primavera or MS Project is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with different stakeholders.
- Good understanding of engineering specifications, quality, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or relevant discipline).
- Previous experience in engineering or construction projects is preferred.
