Job Description
GEMA designs technology-driven immersive experiences for museums, institutions and brands. Our production studio is in Porto, Portugal, and we are hiring a Project Coordinator based in Riyadh to be our day-to-day presence on our projects in the Kingdom.
Fluent English and Arabic are both required. Portuguese is a big plus, as you will work every day with our team in Porto.
What you will do
• Coordinate daily with clients, main contractors, AV hardware suppliers and other trade contractors in Riyadh.
• Attend site and design meetings, take minutes and follow up on actions and approvals.
• Collect client inputs (content, data, brand assets) and keep the input schedule on track.
• Review Arabic content and adaptations with local partners before client submission.
• Support the Porto team during installation, testing and commissioning on site: access, permits, logistics, local suppliers.
• Report weekly to the project managers in Porto.
What we are looking for
• Fluent English and Arabic, spoken and written (both required).
• 3+ years as a project coordinator in fit-out, exhibitions, events, AV, construction or creative projects.
• Very organised, proactive and comfortable working with several stakeholders and a remote team.
• Based in Riyadh, with the right to work in Saudi Arabia.
Nice to have
• Portuguese.
• Experience with museums, visitor centres, science centres or corporate experience centres.
• Experience on design & build or subcontract packages with international teams.
• Saudi nationals are strongly encouraged to apply.
