Title

Project Coordinator - Marine Engineering

The project assigned to contractor is to design and build an Oil Pier New Arm Facility in Kuwait. It consists of approach trestle, loading platform, control tower building, etc.

The Project Coordinator- Marine Engineering will be assigned during the detailed engineering stage in the EPC Contractor's office in UAE.

Summary Section

The Project Coordinator Marine Engineering will be assigned for 12 months in EPC Contractor's office in UAE, merge into the client's PMC team.

The Project Coordinator Marine Engineering will work together with KBR Lead Design Engineer - Marine/Offshore in EPC Contractor's office in UAE, and managing coordination with other part-time personnel in KBR Australia, UK, Kuwait, and India.

The Project Coordinator Marine Engineering will be the focal point in the execution of this work with the client and internal KBR.

Qualifications Including Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor of Engineering, preferably from Marine/Ocean/Naval/Offshore Civil/Structural.
  • Minimum 15 years total post-graduation experience
  • Minimum 10 years post-graduation experience in project engineering/coordination
  • Minimum 3 years post-graduation experience in leading engineering/project management consultants.
  • Preferably has relevant marine work experience (jetty/pier, berth, approach trestle, arm, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate KBR team members in EPC Contractor office (UAE) and in KBR offices (Australia, UK, Kuwait, and India) to perform the work order services to the client.
  • Final/Oversight review of EPC deliverables reviewed by KBR team members prior to sending them to the client.
  • Review and monitor the engineering activities performed, and documents delivered by the EPC Contractor.
  • Monitor and coordinate with the Contractors as necessary to achieve quality design and timely procurement as per Company's standards.
  • Coordinate and/or participate in the relevant review/workshop (Plot Plan, 3D Model, Constructability Review, etc.).
  • Review Monthly Report prepared by Lead Planning Engineer and conduct Monthly Progress Review Meeting with the client.
  • Coordinate other relevant technical supports, such as: Responding to TQ, review RFQ and TBE, etc.
  • Conduct non-technical coordination (KBR team's timesheets review, change orders, etc.).
