Position Overview
The Projects Designer will play a key role in shaping engaging, functional, and brand-aligned restaurant environments. This role blends creative design excellence with operational efficiency, ensuring that each site delivers an outstanding customer experience while supporting smooth staff workflows and commercial performance.
You will be responsible for the full design lifecycle from initial concept development and layouts through to technical drawings, material selection, and on-site implementation while ensuring compliance with brand standards, local regulations, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and functional design concepts for restaurant fit-outs
- Produce layouts, technical drawings, and 3D visuals using industry-standard design software
- Translate operational and user requirements into effective spatial design solutions
- Select and specify finishes, lighting, flooring, furniture, and materials aligned with brand identity
- Collaborate closely with internal project, operations, and maintenance teams
- Coordinate with external consultants, suppliers, and contractors as required
- Manage design deliverables from concept through to execution and handover
- Incorporate feedback and continuously refine designs to meet project objectives
- Ensure all designs comply with brand guidelines, local authority requirements, and health & safety standards
- Conduct site visits to support installation, implementation, and quality control

Key Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in restaurant or hospitality fit-out design
- Strong understanding of QSR or high-volume F&B environments
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Proven ability to balance creativity with operational practicality
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in a multi-site, fast-paced expansion environment is highly desirable
