NOW HIRING PROJECT DIRECTOR (DELIVERY)
Our client is a leading Consultant who has delivered iconic large-scale projects.
The Role:
The Project Director role involves leading the delivery of a major airport expansion project. This position requires strong strategic thinking and leadership skills, contractual and commercial management, and a proven track record in aviation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of the project, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and successful delivery.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure that it meets client requirements and complies with regulations.
- Manage budgets to maintain cost efficiency while upholding quality standards.
- Monitor project schedules to ensure timely completion of milestones and deliverables.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants for smooth project execution.
- Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Identify potential risks early and implement strategies to prevent delays or budget overruns.
- Uphold strict quality control to meet project specifications and industry benchmarks.
- Ensure compliance with zoning laws, environmental standards, and local, state, and federal regulations.
Requirements:
- 20 + years of experience in construction and project management
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior role overseeing large-scale aviation or building projects
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
- Qatar experience is preferred
