Project Director

We are expanding our team for an exciting Large-scale Mixed‑Use Development project in the North Coast of Egypt and are looking to engage a highly skilled professional for the role of Project Director.

Qualifications and Professional Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture or related subject
• Master's degree in Project Management or MBA – Preferred
• Equivalent project management experience may substitute for postgraduate studies
• PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification – Mandatory / Strongly Preferred
• PRINCE2 Certification would be considered a plus
• Primavera P6 / MS Project Certification or advanced proficiency – Preferred
• Risk Management Certification would be considered a plus
• 12+ years of experience
• Preferably worked with reputable PMC/Consultants
• Alternatively, experience with Tier 1 Contractors is acceptable
• Experience with major developers is a strong advantage
• Demonstrated experience managing projects from initiation through to handover
• Strong background in project planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting
• Experience managing project budgets, cost control and financial performance
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and multiple project stakeholders
• Strong risk management and mitigation planning experience
• Experience preparing and presenting project reports to clients and senior management
• Must have client-side and/or PMC experience representing project owners
• Experience within large-scale Infrastructure, Residential, Shopping Malls, Hotels, Resorts, Marine or Mixed-Use Developments
• Experience on large-scale / mega projects is required
