James L Williams Middle East is seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven Project Director to lead and oversee the successful execution of major Data Center projects in Riyadh.
This is a senior leadership position responsible for the full contractual, commercial, and operational delivery of projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and in full compliance with Quality and HSE standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead full project lifecycle execution in line with contractual obligations
- Oversee planning, manpower allocation, procurement, and cost control
- Manage contractual and commercial matters, including FIDIC contracts and claims
- Ensure timely submission of progress payments and maintain positive cash flow
- Monitor project performance against approved programs and budgets
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, QA/QC, HSE, and Engineering teams
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities
- Drive risk management, delay notifications, and extension of time claims
- Oversee project close-out, defect liability, and final account settlement
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant industry experience
- Proven leadership experience on Data Center projects (mandatory)
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and claim management
- Solid commercial and financial management experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
- Strong stakeholder and client relationship management skills
- Excellent communication and leadership capabilities
