Key Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee all project phases from initiation to completion, ensuring compliance with quality standards and budget thresholds
- Manage project resources effectively, including personnel, materials, and budgets
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline goals, tasks, timelines, and resource allocation
- Identify potential risks and implement risk management strategies to mitigate issues before they arise
- Lead project meetings, preparing reports and updates for upper management and key stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations throughout all project operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage
- A minimum of 20 years of experience in project management within the construction industry
- Proven track record in successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion
- Strong leadership capabilities and experience in building high-performing teams
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Familiarity with local construction laws, regulations, and industry best practices is desirable
