Job Description
As a project Director you will:
Lead and direct end-to-end project management for water and waste-water treatment initiatives, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
Foster strong client relationships by serving as the primary point of contact, understanding client requirements, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project life-cycle.
Provide strategic direction and oversight to project teams, promoting collaboration and excellence in the execution of water and waste-water treatment projects.
Utilise in-depth knowledge of water treatment processes and waste-water treatment technologies to guide engineering and technical teams effectively.
Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring financials closely to achieve financial objectives while maintaining high-quality standards.
Proactively identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Implement stringent quality control measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements, integrating them into project strategies.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, addressing and resolving issues as they arise during the project life-cycle.
Demonstrate strong leadership and team management capabilities to inspire and guide project teams toward successful outcomes in water and waste-water treatment projects.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will posses:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Project Director or in a similar leadership role within the water/waste-water treatment sector.
In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes, waste-water treatment technologies, and related engineering disciplines.
Strong project management skills with a successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
