Job Description
As a project Director you will:
- Lead and direct end-to-end project management for water and waste-water treatment initiatives, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and schedule.
- Foster strong client relationships by serving as the primary point of contact, understanding client requirements, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project life-cycle.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to project teams, promoting collaboration and excellence in the execution of water and waste-water treatment projects.
- Utilise in-depth knowledge of water treatment processes and waste-water treatment technologies to guide engineering and technical teams effectively.
- Develop and manage project budgets, monitoring financials closely to achieve financial objectives while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Proactively identify and manage project risks, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
- Implement stringent quality control measures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements, integrating them into project strategies.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, addressing and resolving issues as they arise during the project life-cycle.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and team management capabilities to inspire and guide project teams toward successful outcomes in water and waste-water treatment projects.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will posses:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Project Director or in a similar leadership role within the water/waste-water treatment sector.
- In-depth knowledge of water treatment processes, waste-water treatment technologies, and related engineering disciplines.
- Strong project management skills with a successful track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
