The ideal candidate will be Responsible for end-to-end project management of conveyor belt systems across petrochemical, mining, cement, and crude oil industries.
Responsibilities and Skills:
- Key KPIs: Project delivery on time (%), budget variance (%), quality and safety metrics, client satisfaction. Revenue captured through identified scope changes.
- Manage project lifecycle (design, procurement, installation, commissioning), ensure safety and quality standards, track timelines and budgets, coordinate with internal departments, and liaise with clients and vendors.
- Conduct detailed site assessments and technical audits of existing conveyor infrastructure to identify brownfield optimization opportunities and ensure seamless integration of new components.
- Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines.
- Stakeholders & Departments: Work closely with design, procurement, operations, sales, business development quality, safety, finance; liaise with clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Strong project management, technical knowledge, communication, problem-solving.
- Reports to Project Manager/Engineering Manager, under business development, leads project teams, collaborates across departments.
- Coordination of multidisciplinary teams (design, procurement, installation, safety, quality control).
Skills:
- Strong project management, ensuring end-to-end delivery from design to commissioning.
- Technical expertise in mechanical systems, especially material handling and conveyors.
- Risk management and problem-solving, ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Familiarity with safety standards and industry regulations specific to heavy industrial environments.
- Excellent communication with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project planning tools (e.g., MS Project or Primavera) and CAD or other conveyor structure analysis software for design reviews.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for project tracking.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in industrial project management.
