Job Title: Project Engineer Contracts & Commercials

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Engineer Contracts & Commercials to manage project contracts, commercial documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. The role involves reviewing contracts, managing variations, supporting project costing, and ensuring contractual compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, draft, and manage project contracts, subcontracts, and commercial agreements.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with company policies and legal standards.
  • Coordinate with project managers, procurement teams, and clients regarding contractual matters.
  • Track project costs, budgets, and commercial performance.
  • Manage variation orders, claims, and change requests.
  • Prepare commercial reports, cost analysis, and financial updates for management.
  • Monitor project billing, invoicing, and payment follow-ups.
  • Identify commercial risks and support mitigation strategies.
  • Support tendering and bidding processes by reviewing contractual terms.
  • Maintain proper documentation of all contracts and commercial communications.

equired Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Construction Management / Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 37 years of experience in contracts, commercial management, or project engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of contract administration, project costing, and commercial terms.
  • Experience working with project teams in construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects.
  • Knowledge of FIDIC or similar contract frameworks is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, project management tools, and documentation systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling EPC / infrastructure / construction projects.
  • Familiarity with procurement processes and vendor contracts.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
