As a Project Engr I here at Honeywell, you will monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Your expertise in identifying and mitigating risks and issues that may impact project delivery will contribute to successful project outcomes and minimize potential disruptions. Your coordination and communication with stakeholders will foster collaboration and ensure effective project coordination. By providing project updates and addressing concerns, you will enhance transparency and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.

In this role, you will impact the successful execution and delivery of engineering projects, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of Fire Alarm, PAVA, and voice evacuation systems.
  • Manage engineering, site coordination, inspections, testing, and handover activities.
  • Prepare technical documents, cause-and-effect matrix, and system configuration inputs.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and site teams.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, and safety standards.
  • Support commercial follow-up through IPA preparation, MIR/WIR tracking, and site activity control.
  • Review project specifications, BOQ, drawings, scope, and contract requirements.
  • Identify design gaps, interface requirements, site constraints, and technical risks.
  • Study Fire Alarm, PAVA, and voice evacuation system requirements.
  • Prepare engineering inputs for Fire Alarm layouts, risers, schematics, and interfaces.
  • Support preparation and review of shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
  • Prepare and update the Fire Alarm cause-and-effect matrix.
  • Coordinate cause-and-effect logic with Fire Alarm panels, interfaces, PAVA, voice evacuation, and related ELV systems.
  • Support configuration requirements for Fire Alarm devices, loops, modules, zones, outputs, and control interfaces.
  • Coordinate PAVA and voice evacuation engineering, zoning, interface logic, and integration with Fire Alarm systems.
  • Follow up approvals with consultants, clients, and authorities.
  • Coordinate procurement requirements, material delivery, and site readiness.
  • Prepare and follow up Material Inspection Requests (MIR) with consultant and client teams.
  • Coordinate site installation activities with subcontractors and technicians.
  • Monitor daily site progress, manpower, material availability, and work fronts.
  • Control site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and project schedule.
  • Follow up Work Inspection Requests (WIR) for installed works and completed activities.
  • Coordinate inspection procedures with consultant, client, QA/QC, and site teams.
  • Support commercial documentation, including IPA preparation and progress measurement.
  • Track completed works, inspection status, and supporting documents for payment applications.
  • Coordinate testing and commissioning of Fire Alarm, PAVA, and voice evacuation systems.
  • Support loop testing, device testing, interface testing, cause-and-effect testing, and integrated system testing.
  • Coordinate with third-party systems for elevator, HVAC, access control, BMS, smoke control, and emergency evacuation interfaces.
  • Prepare testing records, inspection reports, punch lists, and commissioning documents.
  • Support authority inspections, consultant walkthroughs, and final acceptance activities.
  • Prepare as-built drawings, operation manuals, handover documents, and project closeout records.
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA, Civil Defense, local authority requirements, project specifications, and HSE procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related engineering field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Fire Alarm project delivery, site execution, and commissioning.
  • Experience in Fire Alarm systems, PAVA, and voice evacuation engineering.
  • Good knowledge of Fire Alarm panels, detectors, modules, loops, zones, interfaces, and control outputs.
  • Practical experience in cause-and-effect matrix preparation, coordination, and configuration support.
  • Experience in Fire Alarm integration with PAVA, voice evacuation, HVAC, elevators, access control, BMS, and smoke control systems.
  • Experience in site supervision, subcontractor coordination, inspection follow-up, and activity control.
  • Knowledge of MIR, WIR, inspection procedures, consultant approvals, and site documentation.
  • Commercial awareness in IPA preparation, progress measurement, completed-work tracking, and payment-support documentation.
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, schematics, risers, layouts, method statements, BOQ, and project specifications.
  • Familiarity with NFPA, Civil Defense, local authority requirements, and project safety standards.
  • Good coordination, communication, problem-solving, reporting, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work with consultants, clients, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
  • Manufacturer certification in Fire Alarm, PAVA, or voice evacuation systems is an advantage.
