Construction Manager / Civil Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Sector: Commercial Interior Fit-Out / Design & Build

Salary: 15k - 20k per month

A leading workplace design and build business is looking to appoint a Civil Engineer / Construction Manager to support its project delivery team in Dubai.

The key requirement is someone who holds a Civil Engineering degree and a valid Society of Engineers (SOE) registration/card at Construction Manager level.

The successful candidate does not necessarily need to be an established Construction Manager. The business is open to developing the right individual and providing training across the wider construction management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support commercial interior fit-out projects from site mobilisation through to handover.
• Coordinate day-to-day construction and site activities.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Review drawings, technical documentation and project information.
• Manage document control and project records.
• Coordinate permits and relevant authority approvals.
• Monitor programme, quality and progress on site.
• Work closely with design, project management and commercial teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering – mandatory.
• UAE construction, interiors or fit-out experience preferred.
• Good understanding of construction and site processes.
• Strong coordination and organisational skills.
• Keen to develop further within Construction Management.
• This is an excellent opportunity for someone who already meets the required SOE criteria and wants to develop into a fully rounded Construction Manager within an established design and build business.
