Key Responsibilities:
Site Supervision & Execution Control
- Monitor and supervise daily construction activities in alignment with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedule.
- Verify contractor and subcontractor works for compliance with approved shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals.
- Identify site execution risks, document non-conformances, and escalate to the Construction Manager.
- Coordinate between civil, structural, architectural, and MEP works on-site to prevent trade clashes.
Procore – Day-to-Day Platform Use
- Submit, track, and close RFIs through Procore.
- Log, monitor, and follow up on contractor submittals.
- Conduct and record site inspections and HSE walkthroughs in Procore.
- Maintain daily site logs including manpower, weather, and progress updates.
- Manage punch lists and track snag clearance through Procore.
- Ensure all site documentation is uploaded, filed, and maintained to current revision in Procore.
Cost & BOQ Support
- Perform quantity take-offs from development and execution drawings.
- Review and validate contractor Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for alignment with specifications.
- Review contractor progress payment applications and validate against executed works.
- Track and document variation orders, maintaining accurate variation logs.
- Monitor cost variance against budget and report discrepancies to the Construction Manager.
Quality & Compliance
- Enforce QA/QC standards on-site and coordinate inspections with consultant and QC teams.
- Ensure all works comply with Saudi Building Code (SBC), Civil Defence requirements, and approved specifications.
- Verify materials received on-site match approved submittals.
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Conduct regular site HSE inspections and record findings in Procore.
- Enforce contractor HSE compliance, PPE usage, and safe working practices.
- Report all incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately.
Reporting & Authority Coordination
- Prepare weekly site progress reports and milestone tracking updates.
- Track and follow up on authority-related submissions and approvals.
Coordinate with Government Relations for regulatory inspections and permit follow-ups.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Saudi Council of Engineers registration preferred.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in construction site supervision.
- Experience in commercial, retail, or mixed-use developments preferred.
- Familiarity with Saudi authority approval processes.
- Hands-on experience with Procore or similar platform is an advantage.
