Job Description
We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD / MicroStation Drafter/Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for control systems projects using AutoCAD / MicroStation software. The AutoCAD / MicroStation Drafter/Engineer will collaborate closely with engineers to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed drawings and plans based on sketches, specifications, and calculations provided by engineers .
- Utilize AutoCAD / MicroStation software to generate 2D models of structures, components, and systems.
- Incorporate design changes and modifications into existing drawings as directed by project managers or clients.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, and regulations.
- Collaborate with project team members to resolve design issues and discrepancies.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and quality assurance.
- Assist in the preparation of material list and project documentation.
- FAT assistance and site surveys.
- Maintain organized files and records of drawings and project documentation.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD software and demonstrated experience creating technical drawings.
- Proficiency in MicroStation software and demonstrated experience creating technical drawings. (Preferable)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
- Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and calculations.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Associate degree or certificate in drafting, engineering technology, or related field preferred.
- Good command of English language (speaking / writing ).
