Position Overview:
The Project Head at Pergola UAE will oversee and lead all ongoing residential and outdoor
structure projects, particularly those involving aluminum and steel fabrication and installation. This
role ensures the seamless execution of multiple projects simultaneously by managing the site
engineers, ensuring project quality, timeline adherence, and efficient communication between site
and office teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all active projects from initiation to handover.
- Supervise and support site engineers across multiple residential and outdoor structure projects.
- Oversee aluminum and steel fabrication and installation works to ensure technical and aesthetic quality.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to review progress and resolve on-site issues.
- Coordinate between office departments (design, procurement, finance) and site teams.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly progress reports to top management.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on all sites.
- Support project planning, resource allocation, and risk management activities.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of site engineers.
- Attend client meetings and ensure project delivery meets expectations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.
- 710 years of experience in residential or outdoor construction projects.
- Strong background in steel and aluminum fabrication and installation.
- Experience managing teams in metal structure projects (e.g., pergolas, glass rooms, faades, outdoor structures).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Valid UAE driving license.
