Overview:
We are seeking an experienced ERP/Business Systems Lead to drive the implementation and ongoing management of our enterprise systems. This role will serve as the primary owner of our ERP system, initially leading a D365 Finance & Operations implementation project before transitioning to long-term system administration, support and optimization. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with full-cycle ERP implementations, strong business process acumen, and the ability to bridge technical and functional requirements across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Project Implementation Phase:
- Drive implementation of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations cloud ERP system, in partnership with our supplier project manager and team.
- Act as an internal project lead: manage plans, timelines, coordinate resources, and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with implementation partners and software vendors to ensure project success
- Conduct business process analysis and mapping to system functionality
- Configure and customize system modules to meet business requirements
- Develop and execute testing strategies (unit, integration, UAT)
- Create training materials and support user training sessions
- Support data migration from legacy systems
- Drive change management and user adoption initiatives
- Lead additional ERP module assessment and implementation as required
Post-Implementation & Ongoing Management:
- Assume responsibility for day-to-day ERP system administration, maintenance and support
- Manage system troubleshooting and health in coordination with global IT team and vendors
- Develop and maintain system documentation, processes and procedures
- Monitor system performance, security and compliance
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
- Manage relationships with global IT team, software vendors and service providers
- Provide guidance on system best practices and governance
Qualifications & Experience:
Mandatory Requirements:
- 5 years of hands-on experience with ERP and business systems including Dynamics D365 Finance & Operations, or similar cloud ERP
- Finance/Accounting system implementation experience (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Project accounting, Reporting)
- Demonstrated project management experience for ERP implementations (managing timelines, budgets, resources)
- Strong understanding of core business processes (Finance, Procurement, Projects)
- Experience with vendor management and consulting partner coordination
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for business users
Preferred Experience:
- Recent experience with Microsoft Dynamics D365 ERP, including certifications
- Previous CRM system implementation (Dynamics 365 CRM, Salesforce, or similar)
- Additional experience with other business systems (HRIS, BI/Analytics, EPM, Integration platforms)
- Certification in relevant ERP systems and/or project management (PMP, Agile)
- Experience in Real Estate brokerage and advisory, or similar professional services businesses
