Project Management Office (PMO) / Senior Project Manager – GIS-Qatar
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced PMO / Senior Project Manager with extensive expertise in Enterprise GIS, ESRI technologies, and large-scale GIS implementation projects. The successful candidate will lead project planning, execution, stakeholder management, and delivery while ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Enterprise GIS projects.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate GIS teams, business stakeholders, and vendors.
- Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Conduct project status meetings and executive presentations.
- Ensure project governance, quality, and timely delivery.
- Manage client communications and stakeholder expectations.
- Oversee GIS data migration, conversion, and enterprise GIS implementation.
- Monitor KPIs and prepare management reports.
- Support change management and PMO best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, GIS, Geomatics, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- PMP Certification (Mandatory).
- Agile Certification (Preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of Project Management experience.
Required Experience
- Experience managing Enterprise GIS implementation projects.
- Prior client-facing Project Management experience.
- Experience with Middle East clients is highly preferred.
- Public Works, Utilities, Infrastructure, or Government project experience is preferred.
