Job Description

Job Title: Project Management Specialist

Support the planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and reporting of projects to ensure activities are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved scope, quality standards, and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers in planning and executing projects from initiation through completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, action plans, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress against approved schedules, budgets, scope, and objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain project reports, dashboards, status updates, and presentations for management.
  • Track project risks, issues, dependencies, and corrective actions, and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and follow up on assigned actions.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, records, approvals, and correspondence.
  • Assist in monitoring project costs, resources, manpower, procurement, and contractual requirements.
  • Support change management by tracking variations, scope changes, and their potential impact on cost and schedule.
  • Ensure project activities comply with company policies, client requirements, applicable standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Identify potential delays or challenges and coordinate with relevant teams to implement appropriate solutions.
  • Support project close-out activities, including documentation, lessons learned, handover, and final reporting.
  • Perform any other project-related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in project management, project coordination, or project controls.
  • Experience in managing or supporting projects from planning through completion.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, reporting, and documentation.
  • Experience with MS Project, Primavera P6, or other project management tools is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies and principles.
  • PMP or other relevant project management certification is an advantage.
