Project Management Specialist- Social Standards and Licensing

Proposed Scope of Work : Project Management and standards development for Social Standards

Purpose of the Expert Support : To provide project management and standards development for a 5 months engagement.

This support is intended to help bridge the gap between strategic planning and practical execution.

The Expert support may include the following areas:

Project Management

1. Project charter development including risk management and stakeholders
2. Project monitoring and reporting and escalation of risk of delays or delays.
3. Helping ensure that agreed actions are moved forward in a timely manner.
4. Supporting the team with preparation of meeting agendas.
5. Maintaining a record of key decisions, pending approvals, and next steps.

Standards development:

1. Development of proposed standards, scope of practice, definitions, and regulatory boundaries for Social Professionals (example: Life Coaching / Coaching services).
2. Conduct benchmarking and research on international and UAE practices related to Social Professionals including coaching regulation, certification bodies, protected titles, ethics, advertising claims, and consumer protection.
3. Identify areas of overlap with regulated professions, including social care, psychology, counselling, therapy, healthcare, education, training, and personal development services, and propose safeguards to avoid regulatory conflict.
4. Assist in drafting technical reports, guidance documents, action plans, and recommendations to support regulatory decision-making and stakeholder engagement.

Post-Project actions monitoring and lessons learned.

1. Supporting post-project debrief meetings.
2. Consolidating feedback and lessons learned.
3. Supporting the preparation of a post-project closure report.
4. Documenting key outcomes, challenges, and recommendations.
5. Following up on pending stakeholder, vendor, or partner-related items.

✅ Requirements

• 5 years of experience in Project Management, including exposure exhibition project management
• Proven technical writing experience
• Experience with government or regulatory entities is preferred
