We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional projects at MediSun Abu Dhabi from planning through execution and delivery. This role is pivotal in driving large-scale technical and operational initiatives across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and external partners. By establishing robust project governance, cost control, and risk management frameworks, the Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Working closely with senior leadership, this position translates business strategy into actionable project roadmaps and execution plans. The Project Manager also plays a critical role in stakeholder alignment, contract management, and performance accountability, directly supporting MediSun's expansion and commercialization of clean energy solutions in global markets.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead end-to-end project execution from feasibility, planning, and budgeting through commissioning and handover.
- Define project scope, schedules, resource plans, and cost baselines in alignment with business and technical objectives.
- Manage cross-functional project teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and external contractors.
- Establish project governance, reporting structures, and escalation processes for executive leadership.
- Control project budgets, approve expenditures within authority, and ensure strict cost discipline.
- Identify project risks, conduct mitigation planning, and proactively resolve execution issues.
- Oversee contract administration, vendor performance, and milestone-based payments.
- Monitor overall project performance using KPIs related to schedule, cost, quality, and safety.
- Lead project reviews, lessons-learned sessions, and continuous improvement of project execution standards.
- Represent MediSun in high-level project discussions with clients, partners, and regulatory authorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial), Construction Management, or a related technical field
- PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project management certification is strongly preferred
Experience
- 1015 years of progressive project management experience in industrial, energy, EPC, manufacturing, or infrastructure environments
- Proven experience leading large-scale, high-value projects from planning through execution
- Experience managing global vendors, contractors, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Background in clean energy, water treatment, electrochemical systems, or advanced manufacturing is a strong advantage
- Strong expertise across project planning, cost and risk control, contract administration, commercial negotiation, and interpretation of engineering and contractual documents.
- Proven leadership over large, multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent stakeholder communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills
- Business level English required, and Arabic is a strong plus
