Lead and oversee the execution of civil construction projects within the Construction Technical – Civil Department, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, cost control, and alignment with project scope. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects meet Alkan's standards and contractual obligations.
Manage end-to-end project lifecycle including planning, scheduling, execution, monitoring, and closing.
Translate project requirements into detailed execution plans and ensure adherence to scope, specifications, and quality standards.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, civil site teams, quality, HSE, and external subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost forecasts, and resource allocation plans.
Track project progress, update schedules, and apply corrective actions to mitigate delays or risks.
Ensure compliance with HSE policies and enforce safety standards at all project sites.
Review and approve technical documentation such as method statements, shop drawings, material submittals, and progress reports.
Lead regular site meetings and maintain communication with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
Manage subcontractor performance and certify completed work.
Identify project risks, prepare mitigation plans, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Ensure project close-out including final documentation, handover, and lessons-learned reports.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
From 8–10 years of experience in civil construction, with at least 3–5 years in a project management role.
Strong technical knowledge in civil works, project planning, contracts, and site management.
Proficient in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project).
Knowledge of HSE and quality standards relevant to the construction industry.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel under tight deadlines.
Problem-solving skills and strong analytical capability.
Certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus
Previous experience in telecom infrastructure or similar projects is an advantage.
