About the Opportunity:
Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of IoT and Niagara-based Building Management System (BMS) projects across the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project scope, schedules, budgets, stakeholder relationships, and technical delivery, ensuring all projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (BE/BTech) in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience delivering IoT and Niagara-based BMS projects
- Strong knowledge of the Niagara Framework (Niagara 4 preferred)
- Experience with BACnet, Modbus, and LON protocols
- Understanding of IoT architectures and communication protocols including MQTT and REST APIS
- Experience integrating with cloud platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or similar
- Familiarity with HVAC controls, lighting systems, and energy management solutions
- Proficiency with project management tools, including MS Project, Jira, Trello, or equivalent
- Strong communication, leadership, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent English, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications:
- Niagara Certification (N4 TCP or equivalent)
- AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or other relevant IoT certifications
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project initiation, requirements gathering, and scope definition
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies
- Manage the integration of IoT devices, platforms, and Niagara Framework solutions
- Oversee installation, programming, testing, and commissioning activities
- Coordinate closely with engineering, design, and field teams throughout project execution
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Manage project budgets, procurement activities, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Deliver client training, system handovers, and project close-out reviews
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders
