Hiring: Senior Project Manager – Cybersecurity
Job location: UAE (Sharjah)
We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager – Cybersecurity to lead and deliver complex security initiatives across enterprise environments. This role involves managing end-to-end cybersecurity projects spanning infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms while ensuring alignment with organizational security standards and governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity projects (planning, execution, monitoring, and closure)
- Define project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables aligned with security objectives
- Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies related to security and compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, infrastructure, applications, and operations
- Conduct workshops and stakeholder sessions to gather and define security requirements
- Translate business and security needs into structured project plans and execution roadmaps
- Oversee implementation and rollout of security solutions across multiple systems and entities
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, frameworks, and governance standards
- Manage vendors and implementation partners delivering cybersecurity solutions
- Ensure seamless integration of security tools within existing platforms and infrastructure
- Track project progress and drive successful deployment and adoption of security controls
- Prepare and present regular updates, reports, and risk assessments to stakeholders
Required Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in project management
- Proven experience managing cybersecurity or infrastructure-related projects
- Exposure to key security domains such as identity security, application security, or cloud security
- Strong experience working with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders
- Experience in vendor and partner management
- Background in government, public sector, or large enterprise environments is a plus
Skills
- Strong project planning, execution, and delivery management
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity concepts and frameworks
- Ability to bridge communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills
- Strong vendor management and delivery oversight capabilities
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS
Certifications (Preferred)
- PMP or PRINCE2
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+
