Project Manager - Data Center Infrastructure (Dubai/Kuwait | Remote)

Job Opportunity: Project Manager (Infrastructure | Data Centers | GCC)

We are seeking a Project Manager to join our fast-moving and high-impact ELS (Energy & Location Strategy) team, supporting critical data center infrastructure development in Kuwait.

This role sits at the intersection of project management, construction oversight, and regional infrastructure delivery in building the next generation of data centers.

Role Snapshot:

Based in the UAE, delivering offsite infrastructure (power, water, road access) for 3 Data Center sites in Kuwait

Experience Required: 6 to 10 years in Project Management (Construction / Infrastructure / Utilities)

Overseeing heavy civil infrastructure: substations, transmission lines, earthworks, utilities

Handling regional permitting, vendor coordination, and contract management

Language: Strong Verbal and written communication in Arabic & English

Contract Duration: 2-3+ years

Team: Energy & Location Strategy (ELS)

Aligning project delivery with long-term expansion strategy

Monthly site visits to Kuwait (25 days/trip

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the offsite development of infrastructure (power, water, road access) across 3 Kuwait data center sites.
• Engage with General Contractors, Utility Companies (MEW, DEWA, etc.), and Government Authorities.
• Drive permitting, ensure compliance, and manage vendor contracts.
• Oversee delivery of critical infrastructure: substations, transmission lines, civil works, water/wastewater access, etc.
• Provide timely risk reporting, budgeting, and milestone tracking.

Must Have Skills:

• 610 years in Project Management (Construction, Utilities, or Infrastructure)
• Deep knowledge of GCC utility networks and permitting processes
• UAE-based utility experience (Power, Earthworks, Water)
• Fluency in both written and verbal Arabic and English is essential to effectively manage regional stakeholders and navigate local permitting processes.

Goodto Have:

• Data Center project delivery experience (hyperscale is a huge plus)
• PMP or engineering background
• Familiarity with PPAs, interconnection, and local procurement law
