Job Description

The Project Manager (FitOut) is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering interior fitout projects within scope, budget, and timeline. This role oversees all site operations, subcontractors, procurement coordination, client communication, and quality control to ensure seamless project delivery. The ideal candidate is detailoriented, technically strong, and experienced in managing fasttrack fitout projects

Areas of Accountability: Main Activities

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.

Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure clarity and feasibility.

Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and QS teams to align project requirements.

Oversee day-to-day site activities and ensure work is executed as per approved drawings.

Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to maintain productivity and quality.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and authorities.

Conduct progress meetings and provide updates on timelines, risks, and deliverables.

Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.

Review and approve material submittals, shop drawings, and samples.

Monitor project budgets, variations, and cost-saving opportunities.

Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications.

Implement QA/QC procedures and manage inspections with consultants.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, authority requirements, and company policies.

Enforce safety protocols and ensure all site personnel follow HSE guidelines.

Conduct toolbox talks and ensure proper documentation of safety practices.

Report incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.

Manage snagging and de-snagging activities.

Prepare handover documentation, including built drawings, warranties, and O&M manuals.

Ensure smooth transition to the client and close out of the project.

Job Requirements

A. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical engineering, architecture or a related field.

B. Minimum Experience:

712 years of experience in interior fit-out project management.

C. Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):

Strong understanding of fit-out materials, joinery, MEP coordination, and finishing works.

Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents.

Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and project management tools.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to manage multiple fast-track projects under pressure.

Client-focused mindset with attention to detail.
